This is an example of how I utilize Google Slide decks to organize and structure the day for my students. I used a screen recorder and iMovie to create the video above.
I use Backward Design and Universal Design for Learning to plan units and to differentiate for diverse learners. In the case of the screen shot above, I created a unit on Futures Thinking, utilizing resources on our university campus, including professors as guest lecturers!
I utilized Canvas resources, such as the quiz bank and simple HTML code to create individualized project-based learning assignments. When writing assessments, I use Depth of Knowledge (DOK) as well as Bloom's Taxonomy to ensure rigor and quality in evaluating students. I also provide detailed and timely feedback to students.
